Hello again!

Well hello! It's been a while. A long while. Sorry about that. I've been writing limericks and poems for all these years, but most of them have been going up on my Instagram. You can follow me and my cats there: @meshugah_rachel - feel free to give me a follow and drop me a DM!

Life updates: I'm currently single, I still live in uptown (but technically I live in Whittier, which is a fitting title for me I suppose lol), I adopted a second cat named Yentl, and I work as a certified peer specialist at a non-profit.

I suppose I'll restart this blog with a post about Mother's Day, since that is the most recent landmark/holiday we celebrated. I went to brunch with my family at Smack Shack and it was a delicious meal. I gifted my mom a bottle of orange liqueur from Norseman for her to enjoy, and wrote her a fitting limerick to match:

If you feel like you’re in a small funk
And your patience has already shrunk

On this Mother’s Day

Let your stress go away
By drinking your gift ‘til you’re drunk!
